This Countertop water filter unit comes with a 1.0 micron CB1 long life carbon block filter cartridge, and diverter valve plus adaptor.
1.0 micron carbon block filter removes or reduces chlorine, organic chemicals, pesticides, taste and odour. Removes Giardia, Cryptosporidium and most bacteria.
These come standard with a diverter valve to fit a lever mixer or old style two tap mixer.A push-fit rubber fitting is available for single cold taps.
The cartridge flow rate is 1-1.5 litres per minute. This is important to get the most effective filtration.
Replacement filter cartridges available on here and at hardware stores.
Recommended life up to 20,000 litres approx 12 months.
CAUTION: not suitable for untreated or bacterially contaminated water supplies.
